At Accordion Table, we believe furniture should be made to last — not just for a season, but for years of everyday living, gathering, hosting, and growing with your family.
Each Accordion Table is crafted from solid wood and built with precision engineering, thoughtful detailing, and a mechanism designed for long-term performance. We stand behind the quality of our materials and workmanship, and we are committed to addressing legitimate issues fairly and responsibly.
This Limited Warranty explains what is covered, what is not covered, and how we handle warranty claims.
1. What This Warranty Covers
Accordion Table warrants to the original residential purchaser that, for a period of five (5) years from the date of delivery, the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal indoor residential use.
This warranty specifically covers:
- defects in the structural integrity of the table
- defects in workmanship affecting normal use of the table
- defects in the functionality of the Accordion expansion mechanism under normal intended use
- manufacturing defects in joinery, assembly, or core construction
- hardware defects that materially impair the intended operation of the table
If a covered defect arises during the warranty period, Accordion Table will, at its sole discretion, determine the most appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement of a component, replacement of the product, or another commercially reasonable solution.
2. Our Commitment
We build Accordion Table to be a long-term piece — one that is meant to be used, enjoyed, and passed through different chapters of life.
If something goes wrong because of how your table was made, we will work with you in good faith to evaluate the issue and provide an appropriate solution consistent with this Limited Warranty.
Our goal is not simply to process claims, but to stand behind the integrity of the product in a way that reflects the values of craftsmanship, fairness, and longevity.
3. Natural Characteristics of Solid Wood
Accordion Table is made from real solid wood, a natural material with inherent variation and movement. No two tables are exactly alike, and that is part of what makes each piece unique.
As with all solid wood furniture, your table may naturally display:
- variation in grain, texture, and tone
- knots, mineral streaks, figure, and other organic markings
- slight seasonal expansion or contraction
- subtle movement related to humidity and temperature
- gradual color change or patina development over time with light exposure and use
These characteristics are normal and are not considered defects. They are part of the natural beauty and individuality of solid wood furniture.
4. What Is Not Covered
This Limited Warranty does not cover damage, conditions, or changes resulting from anything other than a defect in materials or workmanship.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- normal wear and tear
- minor dents, scratches, scuffs, surface marks, or signs of everyday use
- cosmetic changes that develop over time
- wood movement, checking, or minor separation that does not affect structural integrity or intended function
- changes in color, finish, or texture caused by sunlight, age, use, or environmental conditions
- damage caused by improper assembly, improper handling, moving, storage, or installation by anyone other than Accordion Table or its approved service providers
- damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, impact, dragging, overloading, or use outside the product’s intended purpose
- damage caused by exposure to water, standing liquid, excessive dryness, excessive humidity, extreme temperature changes, direct heat sources, or prolonged direct sunlight
- damage resulting from improper cleaning methods or use of chemical cleaners, solvents, abrasives, waxes, silicone-based products, or other non-approved care products
- damage caused by pets, children’s toys, sharp objects, writing instruments, dropped items, or household incidents
- any modification, alteration, refinishing, repair, or disassembly performed by a third party without prior written approval from Accordion Table
- commercial, hospitality, rental, office, institutional, showroom, or other non-residential use, unless explicitly approved in writing by Accordion Table
- floor unevenness, settling, or site conditions affecting perceived stability where the product itself is not defective
- dissatisfaction related to natural wood variation, comfort preference, finish sheen preference, or aesthetic expectations not based on a manufacturing defect
5. Residential Use Only
This Limited Warranty applies only to products used in a normal indoor residential setting.
Unless specifically agreed in writing, it does not apply to products used in:
- commercial spaces
- restaurants
- hospitality projects
- offices
- co-working environments
- rental or staging properties
- public or high-traffic environments
- any setting where the product is subject to use beyond normal residential conditions
Commercial and project use may require separate terms.
6. Proper Care and Environment
Because Accordion Table is made from solid wood and precision components, proper care and a stable environment are essential to long-term performance.
To help preserve your table:
- use the product indoors only
- maintain a stable interior environment
- avoid excessive humidity or extremely dry conditions
- avoid placing the table next to radiators, heating vents, fireplaces, or strong direct sunlight
- wipe spills promptly
- use coasters, placemats, trivets, and protective pads where appropriate
- lift the table when moving it; do not drag it
- follow any care guidance provided by Accordion Table
Failure to use and maintain the product reasonably and appropriately may void warranty coverage where that failure caused or materially contributed to the issue.
7. Mechanism Use
The Accordion expansion system is designed for smooth, normal operation by an end user following intended use.
This warranty does not cover issues arising from:
- forcing the mechanism
- improper operation
- applying abnormal pressure or weight during extension or closure
- standing or sitting on moving sections
- impact damage during extension
- use inconsistent with product instructions or intended function
Normal maintenance adjustments, if any are needed over time, may not automatically qualify as a defect unless caused by a covered issue in materials or workmanship.
8. Remedies Under This Warranty
If Accordion Table determines that a valid warranty claim exists, we may, at our sole discretion:
- repair the affected product
- repair or replace the defective part or component
- replace the product with the same model
- replace the product with a comparable product if the original model is no longer available
- provide another reasonable remedy appropriate to the nature of the defect
Any repaired or replaced product or component will be covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period, unless otherwise required by law.
Accordion Table reserves the right to determine whether repair, replacement, or another remedy is appropriate based on the specific circumstances of the claim.
9. How to Make a Warranty Claim
To submit a claim, please contact us at support@accordiontable.com and include:
- your full name
- original order number
- date of delivery
- current shipping address
- a detailed description of the issue
- clear photos of the full table and close-up photos of the claimed issue

We may also request additional information, documentation, or access reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.
Claims should be submitted promptly after the issue is discovered.
10. Inspection and Evaluation
Accordion Table reserves the right to inspect the product and evaluate any claim before approving a remedy. This may include review of photographs, videos, proof of purchase, written descriptions, virtual inspection, or in some cases an in-person inspection or return of the affected component.
Warranty coverage is determined by Accordion Table after reviewing the relevant facts and condition of the product.
11. Shipping, Service, and Associated Costs
If a claim is approved, Accordion Table will determine the appropriate logistics and service process.
Depending on the nature of the issue and the remedy provided:
- Accordion Table may cover reasonable repair or replacement logistics for covered defects
- the customer may be responsible for certain costs not related to the covered defect itself, where permitted by law
- white glove services, special access delivery, international reshipment, storage, relocation, reinstallation, or non-standard site expenses may not be included unless expressly agreed
Any non-covered work or extra service requested by the customer may be quoted separately.
12. Transferability
This Limited Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and only for the original delivery location, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
It is non-transferable and does not extend to subsequent owners, transferees, resellers, or recipients of gifted or secondhand products.
13. Limitation of Remedies
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the remedies described in this Limited Warranty are the sole and exclusive remedies available for any covered claim.
Accordion Table shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of time, inconvenience, loss of business, or costs associated with removal, installation, or replacement beyond the obligations expressly
stated in this Limited Warranty.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so portions of the above limitation may not apply to you.
14. Implied Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the duration of this Limited Warranty.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you.
15. Legal Rights
This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state or jurisdiction.
Nothing in this Limited Warranty is intended to limit any rights that cannot be lawfully excluded or limited under applicable law.
